Helping to oversee your Pierce County Library System.

The Board of Trustees of Pierce County Library System meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 3:30 p.m. at the Library’s Administrative Center, 3005 112th Street East, Tacoma. On occasion, the Board meetings are held at a library branch or may have a different start time. Please refer to the Board meeting schedule for updated dates, times and locations.  Prior to a meeting, the Board is sent an informational packet related to discussion topics. Public Comment

The Board of Trustees welcomes oral or written comments at its regular meetings.  The time limit for comments is three (3) minutes.
  • If you would like to make a public comment and are attending the Board meeting in person, you will be invited to sign up with your full name, address and topic.
  • If you would like to make a public comment and are attending the Board meeting virtually, you may sign up in advance by emailing clerk Petra McBride by 2 p.m. on the day of the meeting.

Written comments must be submitted 24 hours prior to the meeting to ensure Trustees have ample time to review. Written comments will not be read aloud.
