Same-day voter assistance services reconfigured for Aug. 4 Primary Election

Pierce County Elections has updated the way voters get assistance on Election Day.

In the past, libraries in the Pierce County Library System, the Puyallup Public Library or the Tacoma Public Library were the only locations outside of the county’s single Vote Center in Tacoma where people could get assistance on Election Day.

South Hill Pierce County Library closed Wednesday, July 22

The South Hill Pierce County Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 22 for staff development. The library will reopen for regular hours on Thursday, July 23. Residents are encouraged to visit the Pierce County Library locations in Graham, Summit, Orting or Parkland/Spanaway for nearby library services.

Pierce County Library Board of Trustees to hold June 10 meeting

The Pierce County Library System’s Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting Wednesday, June 10, at 3:30 p.m. The meeting agenda includes a Comprehensive Capital Plan report, including recommendations and detailed information about the Bonney Lake, Buckley and Sumner libraries.
